Like everything else this page is a work in progress...  stay tuned as we grow together...

90% of the time you will spend with your kids happens before they are 12 years old.

Parenting is tough, there is no easy way around it, kids will push your buttons and try your patience at every opportunity they get. We are not experts but we have learned a few things over the years, so if you need some advice please allow us to pour what we have into you.

No lasting changes are ever made in the bad times when everyone is angry, and discipline alone cannot create Children who grow up to Love the Lord. You must strategically plan teaching times around fun activities and help your kids understand your expectations.

Below are a few life lessons that we picked up along the way that worked for us.

1.  Toes on the Carpet (Pushing the limits)

2.  Bedtime Storytime (Getting your kids to talk to you)

3.  After school questions (Getting past the one word answers on the car ride home)

4.  Three Candy Speed (How to get your kids to understand "let's hurry")

5.  When "it's time to go" doesn't work (kids need a countdown too)

6.  Child, you need to get a grip (what Biblical self-control looks like for children)

7.  Nothing is more frustrating than not being able to communicate (Why teach your infant sign language from the beginning)

8.  Treat your kids better than you treat other adults (don't yell at or put down your children)

9.  How to talk to your kids when they disappoint you or do something wrong.

10. It's ok to be mad, but it's not ok to use it as an excuse to sin.

11. Date days are essential to marriage and teenagers with their parents.

12. Get off your electronics (your kids matter more than your phone).

13. Family movie night & Family game night.

14. How to tell your kids you love them and you are proud of them, so they will hear it and believe you.
